We think we know exactly how old the Greek language is, but truly no one really can know when the Greek language was born. 

I'll prove it! Their was an archeological discovery, called "Linear B,"  discovered in 1900 by archaeologist Sir Arthur Evans. 

While excavating the palace of Knossos in Crete, google it!  At the same time he also unearthed "Linear A." Which means that too as well must be Greek, being they were both discovered in the same Greek location.  

However, to date Linear A, has not been translated. Linear B script, was deciphered in 1952 by Michael Ventris, an Englishman architect and cryptographer, he discovered it to be prehistoric Greek dating 1850 BC, that's 850 years before Hebrew began, google it!  

However, Linear A, has not yet been translated, we can't say anything about it, other than it was unearthed in the same location as Linear B. Which is logical proof that it is an older ancient Greek that we a cannot date. Which explains clearly we do not know how old Greek is.

That's because in Greek, "the" has 30 different spellings and definitions, that English does not. In English, "possession" is described in the "sentence structure". 

Which leads to different interpretations of the Holy Bible. In the lost ancient Koine Greek, each individual word describes the possession using a different spelling. 

This makes Greek far superior than other languages, which is why God chose Greek to speak to you in the NT. Part of eating meat not millk, is to LearnReadGreek. 

Possession "the" in the lost ancient Koine Greek, describes if "the" is male or female or neuter, and if singular or plural. But most important for us to know is status, i.e. "absolute," or "nominated absolute," or "new (adopted)," or "accused," or "vocalized." 

This is called "possession" which explains to the reader to understand in advance, what "the"possession is by reading only the word "the," before reading any further word in that Greek sentence.

I divide Greek grammar into eight (8) ages: "Modern Greek", is the 8th age, which is the Greek grammar we use today, then the "ancient Koine Greek" is the 7th age, dating back to Alexander the Great, 300 BC years before Jesus. When all Egypt adopted switching to the Greek language from Egyptian language, with "open gates". Meaning Alexander the 

Great,  conquered Egypt without firing a shot. Egypt just "opened their gates," is the terminology.  

6th age is, "classical attic Greek," dating 500–300 BC; before Alexander Great. 

5th age is, "Archaic Greek," dates roughly 800–479 BC. This is the Greek culture that followed the Greek Dark Age and preceded the Classical Period. This Archaic period saw many changes in Greek language, art, architecture, and politics.  

4th age, travels even further back into the time is,  Porto-Greek, the ancestor of the Greek language, which emerged around 2500 BC. It originated from the diversification of Porto-Ind-European.  

Understanding Porto-Indo-European helps explain the geographic distribution of related languages across Europe and parts of Asia, including the diffusion patterns of language families, google it!  

3rd age, is the next original Greek, "Mycenaean Greek." 

Then earlier we have the 2nd age, Greek spoken during the Linear B texts, thought to be 1500BC years old, older than Hebrew.  

And the oldest known Greek, the 1st age, the birth of Greek? Not yet translated, but found in the same building fire, at the same time as Linear B, is Linear A, which date truthfully can only be said to be unknown. Proving we do not know the age of Greek, or when it first began.

"Greek deep thought" 30+ different definitions to say one English word "the" in ancient Koine Greek, google it! Google explains only three ways to say "the" in "modern Greek", and that is the genders; masculine, feminine, neuter. Greek genders are kinda like English "Miss, Ms, Mrs" and "Mr" you expect next word is going to be masculine, (but you never know today!) "Miss" is followed with only a single feminine gender, "Ms" is always an unknown but you only expect feminine gender to follow, and "Mrs" you expect is followed with a married feminine gender.  

English has no sir name to address a person who does not wish to be identified feminine or masculine gender. However Greek does, that person would be addressed in the "neuter" gender. Otherwise, "the" spelling in Greek determines all the same Mr/Ms/Miss/Mrs English grammar rules do.  

As you already know, there is only one meaning to say "the" in English. Ancient Koine Greek, takes "the" to five more grammar levels that's not used in English grammar, called "possession" for each gender. 

This is called "deep Greek thinking" 32+ different ancient Koine Greek definitions that don't necessarily translate into English. And with that translation dilemma, it means your English translation is really only teaching you half the Bible story! And enables people to twist Scripture into what they want Scripture to say, (Acts 20:30). 

Ancient Greek "possession" grammar are:

#1. nominative (appointed absolute), 

#2. accusative (accusing of possession), #3. genitive (absolute always was and is), #4. dative (new adopted possession), 

#5. vocative (vocalized possession).   

And lastly, "the" in both modern and ancient Koine Greek, will also tell you if "the" possession is plural or singular, which as you know English "the" cannot do.   

However, in translating you also need to take careful consideration of both that Greek society culture, and Greek slang. 

EXAMPLE:

Greek culture difficult to translate: 

• "slave" is one sold into 24/7 slavery.
• "servant" is only a hired employee.

English slang difficult to translate: 

• "Bandwagon"
• "Ballpark figure"
• "Cold turkey"
• "Flabbergasted"
• "Insight"
• "groovy"

NOTE: Ancient NT Koine Greek has slang, to believe Greek wouldn't have slang is being totally naive.  

PICTURE MARY

Jesus "casting seven demons out" (Luke 8:2) is slang explaining Mary Magdalene, had personal medical issues, that "JesusFaithHealing" healed. However, respecting her privacy rights, Dr. Apostle Luke used slang to not divulge Mary's diagnoses. Isn't that what doctors do even today too?   Another ancient Koine Greek slang is; "John Mark" (Acts 12:12 and elsewhere). No one knows really whom "John Mark" is, (because it's slang) but everyone translates it wrong!  

"John Mark" is slang for "ghost writer" for Apostle John, (hidden ancient Koine Greek 30+ meanings reveal, Mary Magdalene is Apostle John's adopted Mother in the "dative case"). Mary Magdalene is writing as Apostle John's ghost writer, referred to as "John Mark" slang, or better translated would be said,  "John Mark is like a trademark".  

Back then in that era, women required a male authority to function in a male dominated society. This is why you read the Bible from a masculine sense point of view. This would make for an eye opening exciting Bible Study, however, Learn Read Greek, and you will be explained more about "John Mark", and 30+ ways to say "Mother" definition, in the ancient Koine Greek.  

Mary Magdalene was a busy bee. PROOF! She and Susanna, supported the lions share Jesus and Apostles needs, out of her own means (Luke 8:3). Because Apostle Judas, was both promoting donations, and stealing from the gangs purse (John 12:6) habitually leaving them short of funds.

Apostle John was just a young kid, he was able to out-run (John 20:4) the strong tough fisherman Captain Apostle Peter, packing a (M-16 gun) sword (John 18:10). These are not Jesus words in red, whom else would write like this? Certainly not a kid, Apostle John bragging about himself out running Peter? Only a loving Mother would write such about her adopted son!  

PROOF! Apostle John was a kid.

Apostle John, was the only Apostle allowed to watch the Crucifixion, because a young kid doesn't present a threat to Roman Soldiers, however, the other Apostles had to hide behind locked doors out of fear... (John 20:19).   

591 AD, Pope Gregory Great lied to the world that Mary Magdalene is a prostitute, and it stuck ever since, as you know of her today. Shame shame shame, you should never call a woman a whore, even if she is! He whom is without sin, please cast the first stone! (John 8:7) 

I've only shared this Mary Magdalene reality with you, to inform you the ancient Greek slang "John Mark". Slang you need to consider when reading any language, especially ancient Koine Greek!    

Now you can add up for yourself, all ancient Koine Greek "the" definitions add up to 30+ plus more meanings when you include culture and slang. This is why I say, "deep Greek thinking". Which is difficult to be said in limited English translated from Greek. This is called "translators choice", which is just an opinion, as everyone has a different opinion. Translating approximately 901 different English NT Bible translations,  (they each claim theirs is better than the other) which makes it impossible to agree which NT English translation we should be reading from. In fact, there's so many English Bible translations today, whenever we quote a Bible verse in English, we also need to reference the English Bible translation we're quoting from, because all translations say something different! It's called "translators choice" and/or "publishers choice."

Emperor Constantine of the Roman  Empire sported a Halo before Jesus did! 

Another Christian mythology is the halo around saints heads, is Christian folklore copied from Greek Zeus mythology. Constantine is depicted with a halo. 

If I prove angels are are not true, what else in the Bible is not true too?
